A bit unwieldy but it's fun and I like your pixel art.
Each time I pressed escape, another copy of the music would start playing, so I ended up with many playing at once.
I'd be arranging my food when a tutorial box would pop up, and my button press would close the box, so I didn't get to read the instructions when the day changed.
Took me a bit to get situated re: the controls and what the various UI things meant, but I got pretty absorbed once it clicked. Very fun once you break the barrier to entry.
